The individual segment maps are overviews of the 100 miles of the Paul Bunyan Trail. You may read each individual description to find the right area you are searching for and then click the "View Map" text to see that segment. The beginning of the Paul Bunyan Trail is Segment 1. From mile markers 0.0 to 14.3 covering areas from Brainerd, Baxter, Merrifield, to just north of Nisswa.

Starting on mile marker 14.8 at Nisswa covering the areas of Pequot Lakes, Jenkins, to just north of the Pine River city limits.

Segment 3 starts at mile marker 30.0 covering the twelve miles to Hackensack with Backus in-between at mile marker 38.8.

 Segment 4  Segment 5  Segment 6

From Hackensack to four miles north of Walker, segment 4 is the halfway point on the Paul Bunyan Trail. Segment 4 starts at mile marker 46.4 and runs through 54.0.

Starting at mile marker 63.2 and ending at 79.4, segment 5 covers areas from Walker, Benedict, and Laporte. With many bridges and scenic areas located along this segment of the trail it's hard to pass up.

With many small scenic towns located along this portion of the trail you just might look for a real estate agent while your in town. Starting from Guthrie at mile marker 82.4 and ending at mile 96 with Nary just in-between at mile 87.6.

Segment 7  The Whole Map!
The last segment of the Paul Bunyan Trail! Starting with Bemidji at mile marker 97.2 and ending the 100 miles of the Paul Bunyan Trail at the junction of the Blue Ox Trail.
